On 13 Jan 1821 Mary Prior of Sydenham in the county of Kent, widow, renounced Administration of the personal effects of her brother John Gallimore Hulbert, directing that Admon be granted to Mary Sophia (the wife of John Swayne), the lawful niece of the said deceased. 4

Mary Prior of Sydenham co. Kent died aged 77 years (burial record). The age provided by the informant is incorrect. Per the Visitation of England and Wales (Vol. 1, p. 9), Mary was aged 82 years when she died.

Gives and bequeaths to her daughter Mrs. Mary Alexander all her plate, jewells and personal ornaments, along with £500 for her own use.
Gives her diamond earrings to her granddaughter Mary Ann Alexander.
Gives and bequeaths to her son Edward Prior her books of all descriptions, her grandpiano forte, along with £100.
Gives £100 to her first cousin Mrs. Lucy Hulbert of Speenham Lane Cottage in the county of Berks.
Gives and bequeaths her gold watch to her granddaughter Amelia Caroline Bearda Batard. If Amelia dies before turning twenty-one she gives the same watch and chain to Amelia's sister Laura Harriet Bearda Batard.
Gives and bequeaths her engine turner? gold watch with its chain and seals to her granddaughter Adeline Huntingford Hulbert Bearda Batard. If Adeline should die before turning twenty-one she gives the same to Adeline's sister Charlotte Maria Bearda Batard.
Gives to each of the following persons £10 each to buy mourning rings: her son-in-law Mr. Richard Alexander and to her daughter Mary his wife, her son-in-law Mr. Thomas Bearda Batard and her daughter Amelia his wife, and her sons William, John and Edward Prior.
Gives and devises in trust to her son Edward Prior and to William Lyddon of Carey? Street Lincoln's Inn in the county of Middlesex, gentleman, her two tenements with gardens and fields, such that from time to time they pay to her daughter Mary Alexander the proceeds from the rents and profits of the said tenements, for the maintenance and education of her granddaughter Mary Ann Alexander.
Gives and bequeaths to her daughter of Mrs. Amelia Bearda Batard all her household furniture, china, stock of wines and liquors, her carriage, horses and harnesses at Sydenham.
All the rest and remainder of her real and personal estate she gives and bequeaths to her son Edward Prior and to the said William Lyddon, nominating her said son Edward Prior sole executor of her last will and testament.
Forgives to Thomas Bearda Batard all sums owing to her.
