In Dec 1865 George Britcher was present at the marriage of his brother Edward Britcher to Agnes Dudding in Chatham Kent.
At the time of the 1871 England Census George Britcher, age 31, born in Otham Kent, unmarried, farmer, was with his widowed mother in Marden Kent.
At the time of the 1881 England Census George Britcher, age 41, born in Otham Kent, fruit salesman, and wife Frances, age 37, born in Marden Kent, were living in Oak Lodge, Primrose Hill, Tonbridge Kent. Present were children George T (9) of Southwark Surrey, William (7) of Tonbridge, Stephen (5) of Tonbridge, Frances (3) of Tonbridge and Julia (1) of Tonbridge.
At the time of the 1891 England Census George Britcher, age 50, born in Pound's Bridge Kent, fruit salesman, and wife Frances, age 46, born in Marden Kent, were living in Oak Lodge, 126 Primrose Hill, Tonbridge Kent. With them were children George T (19) of Stoney St., Southwark Surrey, fruit salesman, and born in Tonbridge: William (17), fruit salesman, Stephen (15), fruit salesman, Frances (13), scholar, Julia (10), scholar, Frank (8), scholar, and Harold (5), scholar.

DEATH OF MR. GEORGE BRITCHER. — We are sorry to record the death of Mr. George Britcher, of Oak Lodge, Primrose Hill. The deceased, who was one of the foremost salesman in the Borough Market, London, was well known and deservedly respected throughout the county. The late Mr. Britcher hailed from Otham, and came to Tonbridge to reside some 23 years ago. Widespread sympathy has been evinced with Mrs. Britcher and her seven children in their sad bereavement.
