In Mar 1802 Mercy Bristed was present at the marriage of Matthew Judd and Esther Borer in Otham Kent.
Writing the first codicil to his Will in Nov 1832, Richard Bristed, then of Tottenham Court Road in London, bequeathed £10 to his sister Mercy Britcher.
At the time of the 1841 England Census Mercy Britcher, aged about 55, and husband Stephen Britcher, aged about 60, were living in Langley Ponds, Langley Kent. With them were children Stephen (25) and Elizabeth (20).
At the time of the 1851 England Census Mary [sic] Britcher, age 68, born in Otham Kent, and husband Stephen Britcher, age 71, born in Frittenden Kent, ag. lab., were living in Otham Gate, Otham Kent.
Writing his Will in Jun 1853 Stephen Britcher (junr.) named as beneficiaries his mother Mercy Britcher and father Stephen Britcher.
