Present were children Edward (27) of Boxley Kent, farmer's son, and born in Otham: George (21), farmer's son, Henry (19), farmer's son, Thomas (15), farmer's son, Sarah (14), farmer's daughter. In a cottage on Gove Farm was Richard's father Stephen Britcher (81) of Krittenden Kent, widower, ag. lab.

In Feb 1866 Mary Ann Britcher of Otham, widow, was granted Letters of Administration of the personal estate and effects of her late husband.
