In the 1939 Register Frances Britcher (b. 11 Dec 1877), single, of independent means, was living at 30 Pembury Road, Tonbridge, Kent.

Miss F. Britcher
A member of a very old Tonbridge family, and a well-known Church worker whose interests were in the Missionary field, Miss Frances Britcher, of Hertfield House, Quarry Hill, Tonbridge, died on February 7.
Miss Britcher who was 86 years of age, was a life-long supporter of St. Stephen's Church, in which she had a great interest. She was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. George Britcher, who owned a fruit and vegetable business where the Direct Fruit Stores is now situated.
The funeral took place on Monday.
