In January 1832 Eliza Vivian was present at the marriage of her sister Sarah Vivian to Philip Vounder in St. Ives, Cornwall.
In 1851 Eliza Cogar, aged 40, born in St. Ives [sic], and husband Thomas Cogar, aged 40, born in St. Ives, grocer, were living in Tregenna Place, St. Ives, Cornwall. With them were children (born in St. Ives) Eliza Vivian (15), Anna (12), Thomas (9), Richard (5), Phillipa (3) and George (1).
In 1861 Eliza Cogar, aged 50, born in St. Ives [sic], and husband Thomas Cogar, aged 50, born in St. Ives, grocer, Registrar of Marriages assist. Overseer & Collector of Rates & Taxes, were living in Tregenna Place, St. Ives. With them were children (born in St. Ives) Anna (22), grocer's assistant, Richard (15), scholar, Phillippa (13), scholar, George V. (11), scholar, Sarah E. (9), scholar, John V. (6), scholar, and Eliza's sister Sarah Vounder (57) of Camborne, widow, formerly schoolmistress.
In April 1865 Eliza Cogar was present at the marriage of her daughter Anna Cogar to Capt. Thomas Anthony in St. Stephen's, Bristol, Gloucestershire.
In 1871 Eliza Cogar, aged 60, born in Camborne Cornwall, and husband Thomas Cogar, aged 59, born in St. Ives, assistant overseer, were living in South Terrace, St. Ives. With them were children (born in St. Ives) George V. (21), accountant, John V. (15), scholar, and Eliza's sister Sally Vounder (67) of Camborne, widow.
In 1881 Eliza Cogar, aged 70, born in Camborne, and husband Thomas Cogar, aged 69, born in St. Ives, Mayor and accountant, were living at 10 Terrace, St. Ives. Present was granddaughter Phillippa C. Paynter (11) of St. Ives, scholar.
In March 1888 Eliza Cogar of St. Ives, widow, was sole executrix of her husband's will.

The Will of Eliza Cogar late of St. Ives in the county of Cornwall, widow, who died 1 February 1891 at St. Ives, was proved 8 April at Bodmin by Richard Cogar of Penzance in the said county, banker's clerk, the son, the sole executor. Personal estate £421 13s. 9d. 3
