With them were daughter Phillippa C. (1) of St. Ives and husband's niece Elizabeth Paynter (12) of St. Ives, scholar.

In 1881 Philippa Paynter, aged 33, born in St. Ives, and husband Edward Paynter, aged 34, born in St. Ives, house carpenter, were living in Gabriel Street, St. Ives.
