DEATH OF MR. THOMAS COGAR.—Many readers will hear with regret of the death of Mr. Thomas Cogar, of the Terrace, St. Ives, which occurred at Falmouth on Saturday. Deceased was for many years in business as a grocer and was also for a long time the assistant overseer for the parish of St. Ives. He was a magistrate for the borough. But Mr. Cogar was yet more widely known and a frequent and influential election-agent for the Liberals. But he had retired from active political life and business for some time. His death is another loss to the church under the pastoral care of the Rev. Clayton Fuidge, and of which the deceased was for the past three or four years a faithful and conscientious member. He was kind and benignant, and will be much missed by a large family and a wide circle of attached friends.
