  Research Notes:

In October 1856 Anna Cogar was present at the marriage of her sister Eliza Vivian Cogar to Waterhouse Kernick in St. Ives, Cornwall.

In 1861 Anna Cogar, aged 22, born in St. Ives Cornwall, grocer's assistant, was with her paretns in Tregenna Place, St. Ives.

In 1871 Anna Anthony, aged 33, born in St. Ives, and husband Thomas Anthony, aged 44, born in St. Ives, harbour master, were living in Pentewan, St. Austell, Cornwall. With them were sons Thomas (2) of St. Ives, John Bray (1 mo) of Pentewan, and Anna's sister Sarah E. Cogar (19) of St. Ives, single.
