In 1871 Thomas Anthony, aged 44, born in St. Ives, harbour master, and wife Anna Anthony, aged 33, born in St. Ives, were living in Pentewan, St. Austell, Cornwall. With them were sons Thomas (2) of St. Ives, John Bray (1 mo) of Pentewan, and Anna's sister Sarah E. Cogar (19) of St. Ives, single.
In 1881 Thomas Anthony, aged 54, born in St. Ives, widower, harbour master, was in Pentawan, St. Austell.Present were his sister Elizabeth Ann Anthony (56) of St. Ives, housekeeper, sons Thomas (12), scholar, John B. (10), scholar, George P. B. (7), scholar, and Maurice D. (4).
In 1891 Thomas Anthony, aged 64, born in St. Ives, widower, harbour master, was at no. 2, the Terrace, St. Austell. With him were sister Elizabeth A. Anthony (66), single, housekeeper, and sons John B. (20), farmer, George (16), banker's clerk, and Maurice D. (14), scholar.
In April 1900 Thomas Anthony, harbour-master, was granted Administration of the effects of his late son George Vivian Cogar Anthony.
In 1901 Thomas Anthony, aged 74, born in St. Ives, harbour master, was living at the Terrace, St. Austell. With him were son John Bray (30), clerk, and sister Elizabeth A. (76), single.
