In 1841 George Vivian, aged about 70, born in the county, m. agent, was in Tregenna Place, St. Ives, Cornwall. With him were son George (42), miner, (son-in-law) Philip Vounder (37), mariner?, and (daughter) Sally Vounder (38).

In 1851 George Vivian, aged 83, born in Camborne Cornwall, widower, retired mine agent, was with his daughter Sarah Vounder and her husband Philip Vounder in High Street, Tywardreath, Cornwall.
