In 1841 Sally Vounder, aged about 38, born in the county, and husband Philip Vounder, aged about 37, born in the county, mariner?, were with Sarah's father George Vivian, mine agent, in Tregenna Place, St. Ives, Cornwall.

In 1851 Sarah Vounder, aged 47, born in Camborne Cornwall, private schoolmistress, and husband Philip Vounder, aged 47, born in St. Austell Cornwall, private schoolmaster, were living in High Street, Tywardreath, Cornwall. With them was Sarah's father George Vivian (83) of Camborne, retired mine agent.

In 1861 Sarah Vounder, aged 57, born in Camborne, widow, formerly schoolmistress, was with her sister Eliza Cogar and her family in Tregenna Place, St. Ives.

In 1871 Sally Vounder, aged 67, born in Camborne, widow, was with her sister Eliza Cogar and family in South Terrace, St. Ives.
