In May 1820 Charles Lock was present at the marriage of his sister Sophia Locke to John Laver in Hastings St. Clement.

In 1832 Charles Lock was co-executor of his father's Will.

At the time of the 1841 England Census Charles Lock, aged about 55, tailor, and wife Maria, aged about 50, were living Hastings St. Clement. With them were children: Maria (20), Martha (15), John (13), Emma (11), Eliza (9), Esther (6).

At the time of the 1851 England Census Charles Lock, aged 63, born in Hastings Sussex, tailor, and wife Maria, aged 60, born in Hastings, were living at 8 Court House St., Hastings St. Clement. With them were daughter Esther (16) of Hastings, domestic duties, granddaughter Ellen Lock (9) of Hastings, and nephew James Lock Noakes (17) of Hastings, plumber & painter.

In Jun 1855 Charles Lock was present at the marriage of his daughter Emma Lock to Thomas Lingham in Hastings St. Clement Sussex.

In Jul 1856 Charles Lock was present at the marriage of his daughter Maria Lock to John Pitt in St. Mary in the Castle Hastings.
