Appoints his wife Benedicta Lock and his son Charles Lock co-executors of his will.
Gives, devises & bequeaths to his wife Benedicta Lock all his tenements, hereditaments, real estate and premises, along with the associated household goods, furniture, plate, linen, china and other household effects, for the term of her natural life. And after her decease he wills the same to his son Charles Lock and his heirs.
After his wife's decease he gives, devises and bequeaths those tenements, hereditaments and premises in the parish of St. Clement in co. Sussex purchased of William Markwick to his daughter Mary Ann the wife of Robert Noakes.
After his wife's decease he gives, devises and bequeaths those tenements, hereditaments and premises in the parish of Bexhill in co. Sussex to his son George Tarbrett Lock and his heirs, as well as his freehold tenements and premises in All Saints Street in Hastings that belonged to James's father [William Lock] and currently occupied by the said Charles Lock and David Easton.
After his wife's decease he gives, devises and bequeaths his two tenements and premises in the Winding Street in the parish of St. Clement in Hastings to his daughter Sophia the wife of John Laver and her heirs.
After his wife's decease he gives, devises and bequeaths his three tenements and premises in Hill Street in the parish of St. Clement to his daughter Martha the wife of William Morris and her heirs.
All the rest, residue and remainder of his personal estate, property and effects he gives and bequeaths to his wife Benedicta Lock.
