In 1789 Martha was named as a beneficiary in her father's Will.
Daughter Susanna, christened in Clyffe Pypard Wilts on 29 Nov 1791, was buried in Broad Hinton Wilts 31 Jul 1807, aged 15 years.
In 1822 Martha Garlick was bequeathed a legacy of £100 in the Will of her brother John Smith of Tockenham, yeoman.
In 1841 Martha Garlick, aged 74 years, born in the county, was with her son Giles Garlick, aged about 30, not born in the county, yeoman, in Gilboa, Brokenborough Wiltshire. Martha's other son, Francis Garlick and his wife Susanna were living nearby.
In 1851 Martha Garlick, aged 83 years, born in Tockenham Wilts, widow, was with her son Giles Garlick on Gilbo Farm, Brokenborough Wilts.
