SUDDEN DEATH OF AN OLD RESIDENT.—Yesterday afternoon an old resident named John Mepham, of 63, Russell Street, Mile Town, Sheerness, died suddenly at his resident. It seems that yesterday week Mr. Mepham fell downstairs and broke his arm. He has since been under the care of Dr. John McKinley, who had attended him some months previously for fits. The deceased, who was a widower, was a coppersmith and 65 years of age. Sergeant Saunders reported the facts to the District Coroner last night, and we understand that an inquest will be unnecessary.
