In 1802 James Tippet Senr of Falmouth was a beneficiary of the will of his uncle the Rev. John Vivian of Pencalenick, who left him £100.

This is the last Will and Testament of me James Tippet of Falmouth in the County of Cornwall, Gentleman
Imprimis As to the small piece of Land which I purchased some years since of the revd. William Baker that will descend to my eldest Son and Heir at Law as was my intention at the time of purchasing it
And lastly I give and bequeath unto my dearly beloved Wife Harriet Tippet all my Goods and Chattells Estate and Effects whatsoever and wheresoever situate at the time of my death To hold to her the said Harriet Tippet — her Executors Administrators and Assigns at her sole disposal for ever And I do hereby make nominate constitute and appoint the said Harriet Tippet sole Executrix of this my Will
