In 1881 Daniel Wilkins, aged 27, born in Pontypridd Glamorgan, engine fitter, and wife Mary Wilkins, aged 28, born in Pontypridd, were living at 121 Dumfrees St., Ystradyfodwg, Glamorgan. Present were children John (8) of Mountainash Glamorgan, scholar, Jane (6) of Mountainash, scholar, William (4) of Pontypridd, scholar, and Thomas (1) of Pontypridd.
In 1901 Daniel Wilkins, aged 46, born in Pontypridd Glamorgan, fitter, and wife Mary Wilkins, aged 47, born in Pontypridd, were living at 117 Middle Street Pontypridd. With them were children John (28) of Mountain Ash Glamorgan, fitter, Jane (26) of Mountain Ash, and born in Pontypridd William (24), black smith, Thomas (21), black smith & . . . . . . . , Daniel T (16), butcher's assistant, Garfield (14), Ernest (11), and Mary A. (9).
In 1911 Daniel Thomas Wilkins, aged 58, born in Pontypridd Glamorgan, widower (father of 9 children, 1 deceased), was in St. Leonard's House, Merthyr Rd., Pontypridd. With him were son John Wilkins (39) of Mountain Ash Glamorgan, single, fitter at iron foundry, son Ernest Wilkins (21) of Pontypridd, shop porter tailoring, daughter Anne Wilkins (19) of Pontypridd, single, mother-in-law Mary Norman (81) of Egwysilan Glamorgan, niece Lily Norman (15) of Pontypridd, son-in-law Rees Jones (31) of Festionog Merioneth, married, colliery labourer (above ground), and daughter Jane Jones (33) of Mountain Ash (married less than a year).

OBITUARY.
The death took place on Monday at the age of 75 years of Mr. Daniel Wilkins, 15, Duffryn Gardens, Rhydyfelin. He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Wilkins, of the Newbridge Inn, Pontypridd. Mr. Daniel Wilkins afterwards succeeded his parents at this Inn.
