Present also were Jane Evans (18) of Porthleven, assistant teacher, and 3 boarders.
At the time of the 1871 Wales Census Catherine Richards, aged 80, born in Penmark Glamorgan, widow, retired school teacher, was staying with her daughter Catherine Johns and her family in Schoolhouse, Porthkerry, Glamorgan.
