In 1851 David Richards (24) of Penmark Glamorgan, mason, unmarried, was living at 3 Golden Lion Crescent, Cardiff St. John, Glamorgan.

In 1861 David Richards (34) of Penmark, stone mason, was living in Cottage, Llanedeyrn, Glamorgan. Present were wife Mary (28) of Cardiff, children (born in Cardiff): Catherine (6), James Thomas (4), Mary Jane (2).

In 1881 David Richards (54) of Penmark, reservoir keeper, was living in Filterbed Cottages, Llanishen, Glamorgan. Present were wife Mary (49) of Cardiff, children: David N. (19) of Llanedarne, mason, Elizabeth G. (17) of Llanedarne, serv., and born in Llanishen: Mary Jane (14), scholar, Bertha Ann (12), scholar, Henry P. In 1891 David Richards (64) of Penmark, reservoir keeper, was living in Reservoir House, Llanishen, Glamorgan. Present were wife Mary (58) of Cardiff, children (born in Llanishen): Henry Place (20), shoemaker, Jane (18), dressmaker, Florence (15), dressmaker's apprentice.

AN OLD CARDIFF EMPLOYEE

The death is announced of Mr. David Richards at the advanced age of 76. He had been connected with the Cardiff Waterworks for 40 years, being foreman of the Llanishen and Health department. He retired on a pension about four months ago. He was a valued servant, and his services were highly appreciated by the waterworks committee. The funeral will take place tomorrow (Wednesday), leaving the residence, 66, Allensbank-road, Cathays, at three-o'clock.
