-------------------------

Catherine Norman of Cwm died aged 87 years (burial record).

-------------------------

Catherine was born about 1755. There were three recorded Catherine Rees born in Glamorgan about this time. Catherine is shown here, tentatively, as daughter of Morgan Rees, christened 15 Jun 1754 in Cadoxton, which is 6 miles east of Penmark. Another Catherine, daughter of Thomas & Martha Rees, was christend 18 May 1754 in Margam, about 22 miles north-west of Penmark. It seems unlikely this was the same Catherine. Also unlikely is Catherine daughter of Evan & Florence Rees who was christened 1 Jan 1755 in Pentyrch, about 13 miles north of Penmark.

  Marriage Information:

Catherine married John Norman of Penmark, son of John Norman and Elizabeth Andrew, on 15 Jun 1791 in Penmark, Glamorgan, Wales 1. (John Norman of Penmark was born in 1734 in St. Andrews Major, Glamorgan, Wales, christened on 7 Sep 1734 in St. Andrews Major, Glamorgan, Wales, died about Feb 1795 in Penmark, Glamorgan, Wales and was buried on 3 Feb 1795 in St. Andrews Major, Glamorgan, Wales.
