In 1794 William Taylor was a beneficiary of his father's Will, receiving Ven and Paramoor Park, conditional that he pay to his mother an annuity of £14 for the term of her natural life.
In July 1797 Wm. Taylor was present at the marriage of his sister-in-law Ann Vosper to Samuel Brown in Laneast.

All the rest of his goods and chattels he gives to his son William Taylor, whom he appoints sole executor of his last will and testament.
