To Katherine, ... beloved wife: chests, trunks, bedding, bedclothes and linen in 'my Chamber where we Lye.' 'And allso the Curtaines, Vallens & paines' (?) 'in the Greene Chamber and allso my white mare which I used to ride And the Roane Mare called the Crooper'..
To second son Richard:- part of manor of Hellogan, purchased of Sir Peter Courtney, Kt., in Camborne, Crowan, Gwinear and Madron, in occ. of Ann Jeffries, widow, John Harte, John Symons, John Polles, Eliz. Rosewarne, widow, Richard Veale, gent., Wm. Cowlen and Ric. Leddra - Also messuages and lands in Bossense alias Bussyn, St. Erth, occ. Wm. Davies - Also Higher Bosaverne in St. Just in Penwith - Also Talskns alias Tolskois in Gwinear occ. Humphrey Tom - Also properties in Markasjowe alias Marasion, St. Hilary, occ. Hen. To eldest dtr. Ann - £500. If she married without consent of her mother Katherine and of Ezechiel Arundell, Esq., Francis and Wm. Arundell, gents. and of 2nd son Richard Pendarves, then she was to have only an annuity of £20 for life.
To second dtr. Dorcas: £500. Both portions to dtrs. Ann and Dorcas to be paid, half at six months after their marriage and the other half 12 months after their marriages. If they married before death of testator, above legacies to be void. Testator lent eldest son William Pendarves £100 'out of the first money I received of his wives portion'. If Wm. Pendarves paid this to executors and allowed his mother Katherine two chambers in Pendarves 'with sufficient wood for fireing' and provision for 2 horses and liberty to make use of one of the kitchens. If Wm. Pendarves paid £100 towards raising portions for other children. Then William to have half 'of all my Outward stock and Cattle' and one half of household goods except those given to wife Catherine.
Residue of personal estate to wife Katherine and second son Richard. They appointed executors.
