Gives & bequeaths £10 each to his younger sons John Meredith, Evan Meredith, Hugh Meredith, and Thomas Meredith.
Gives & bequeaths £10 to his grandson John Bayly, leaving him to the care of his executrix hereinafter named.
Gives & bequeaths £10 each to his daughters Anne, Mary and Catherine.
Refers to an Indenture Quadripartite dated 1 Sep 1 Geo. II [1727] made between himself and Catherine his late wife, his eldest son and heir Humphrey Meredith the younger of Pengwern, Esqr and Anne his wife, one of the daughters of Thomas Meyricke late of Tan y Bwlch in the county of Merioneth Esqr, of the first part; Henry Ellis of Carnarvon, Gent. and Robert Williams of Carnarvon, Gent, of the second part; Evan Griffith of Plâs tan y Bwlch in county Merioneth Esqr, and Griffith Williams of Llandegwnning in county Carnarvon, clerk, of the third part; and Anne Meyricke of Plas tan y Bwlch in county Merioneth, widow and relict of the said Thomas Meyricke deceased and also executrix of his last will and testament, of the fourth part, wherein is reserved a power for him to reserve £300 arising from his messuages, tenements and lands called Pengwern, Pengwern Griffith William and Genfron, Monachtû als. Monachtu Gwin, Tyddin Terfyn y Ddeublwy, Tyddin y Gors, Tyddin Glan y Mor als. Cae Fadog, Tyddin y Mab dû, Chwilog fach, Tyddin Cennin Fynydd, Tyddin y Fammeth and Y Gadlis, to be thereout levied, raised and paid to his kinsmen William Williams of Glanravon in county Carnarvon, Esqr. and Robert Carrog of Carrog in the same county, Gent. in Trust, to pay to his youngest daughter Jane Meredith, spinster.
Gives to each of his Trustees a piece of gold formerly of the value of 25 shillings as a small acknowledgement of their care and trouble.
Gives & bequeaths to his son Humphrey Meredith three of his largest pieces of gold and his gold signet ring.
Gives & bequeaths to his grandson Meyrick Meredith his burse and all his books . . . . . . . . . and pistols.
Nominates, constitutes & appoints his said daughter Jane Meredith sole executrix and residuary legatee of his last will and testament.
