At the time of the 1861 England Census Francis Spackman, aged 11, born inWootton Bassett Wilts, scholar, was with his parents in High Street, Wootton Bassett.

In November 1870 Francis Young Spackman was present at the marriage of his brother George William Spackman to Mary Anne Julia Constable in Limehouse Middlesex.

At the time of the 1891 England Census Francis Spackman, aged 40, born in Wootton Bassett Wilts, bricklayer, and wife Amelia, aged 38, born in Poplar London, were living at 1 Tryphena Place, Bromley London. With them were children (a) born in Poplar London: Amelia (20), Louisa (18), tailoress, Jane (17), apprentice to waterproof work, Frances (14), and (b) born in Bromley: Lilly (12), scholar, Maud (7), scholar, George (5), scholar, May (3) and Daisey (1).

In April 1898 Francis Y. Spackman was present at the marriage of his daughter Mary Jane Spackman to Arthur Bennett in Bromley Middlesex.

In August 1899 F.Y. Spackman was present at the marriage of his daughter Louisa Spackman to Robert Thomas Crutcher in Bromley Middlesex.

At the time of the 1901 England Census Francis Spackman, aged 51, born in Woodon Bassett Wilts, bricklayer, and wife Amelia, aged 49, born in Poplar, were living at 1 Tryphena Place, Bromley London. With them were children Annie (30) of Poplar, and born in Bromley London: Fanny (24), tailoress, Lily (22), tailoress, Maud (18), tailoress, George (15), chemist['s] porter, May (14), tailoress, Daisy (11), Frank (9), and Arthur (8).

In February 1903 Francis Y. Spackman was present at the marriage of his daughter Lillie Spackman to Henry James Harley in Bromley London.
