At the time of the 1911 England Census Frances Spackman, aged 34, born in Bromley by Bow, London, single, sewing machinist tailoring, was with her widowed mother at 135 Bow Common Lane, Old Town London.

In the 1939 Register Frances Spackman (b. 24 Dec 1876), single, trouser machinist, was living at 44 Lilac Gardens, Romford, Essex.
