  Research Notes:

At the time of the 1891 England Census Louisa Spackman, aged 18, born in Poplar London, tailoress, was with her parents at 1 Tryphena Place, Bromley London.

At the time of the 1901 England Census Louisa Crutcher, aged 28, born in Bromley by Bow, and husband Robt T Crutcher, aged 28, born in Rotherhithe, builder's labr, were living at 32 Tidey Street, Bromley London. With them was son Francis (3 mo) of Bromley by Bow.

At the time of the 1911 England Census Louisa Crutcher, aged 38, born in Poplar London (mother of 1 child), and husband of 11 years Robert Thomas Crutcher, aged 38, born in Rotherhithe Surrey, labourer in chemical works, were living at 30 Rowsell St., Mile End Old Town, London. With them was son Robert Thomas* (10) of Bromley London, school.

* Robert Thomas Spackman appears again in the 1939 Register with his widowed mother (below), and so his name is not an error. In 1901 Robert & Louisa's only son was named Francis, and appears as Francis Leonard Spackman in the GROE birth index (there is no Robert Thomas Spackman for the same period). The only explanation seems to be that they decided to unofficially change his name.

In May 1937 Louisa Crutcher, widow, was granted Administration of her late husband's personal effects.

In the 1939 Register Louisa Spackman (b. 15 May 1872), widowed, unpaid domestic duties, was with [her son] Robert T Crutcher, boot clicker, at 120 Bow Common Lane, Bow, Tower Hamlets, London.
