Abstract of the Will of Anne Gartrell of the Parish of Illogan in the County of Cornwall, Widow, written 11 Dec 1727, proved 21 May 1728. 3
Gives and bequeaths her bed and its furniture to her daughter Mary Gartrell for as long as she remains unmarried.
Gives and bequeaths to her said daughter Mary Gartrell the house that John Mill now lives in for the term of her natural life or for as long as she remains unmarried. Also gives to Mary an annuity of £3 for as long as she remains unmarried out of two closes of land called Parketoddens and the croft adjoining called Metheres Noweth in Illogan parish. And if Mary should marry then the above shall return to Anne's executor and Mary will then receive an annuity of 20 shillings.
Gives and bequeaths 1 shilling to her son John.
Gives and bequeaths 1 shilling each to her daughters Elizabeth Richards and Cordelia Vyvyan.
All the rest of her goods and chattels she gives and bequeaths to her son Henry Gartrell, making him sole executor of her last will and testament, conditional to him not disposing of any of the aforesaid goods and chattels.
In case her son John survives her son Henry then whatever she has bequeathed to Henry shall pass to John.
