Gives and bequeaths to his wife all his personal estate in the parish of Wootton Bassett, his stock of cattle, corn, hay, household furniture and ready money, and all his goods and chattels.
Gives his wife full power 'to devise by will or otherwise give' to his children their shares of his personal estate according to their merits (excepting his eldest son).
Appoints his wife sole executrix of his last will and testament.
