In Apr 1835 Hetty the wife of Henry Mockett of Selmeston, farmer, was granted Administration of the personal effects of her only sister Mercy Fennall of New Shoreham, widow.
At the time of the 1841 England Census Hetty Mockett, aged about 60, and husband Henry Mockett, aged about 65, farmer, were living on Boy's Farm, Selmeston. Present were sons Thos Mockett (30), wheelwright, and John F (20).
