Sarah the wife of John Henty of Alciston, victualler, on surrender by Thomas Duly, to a cottage called the Half Moon at the foot of the White Bosthill in Alciston and 37 rods of land on which the cottage stands in the NW corner of a field called the Seven Acre Lain abutting to the said field,s E and S, to the road leading up the hill called White Bosthill, W and the Turnpike Road from Glynde Bridge to Longbridge, N, quitrent 12d.

Writing his Will in 1792 Joseph Akehurst of Beddingham directs that, after the death of his wife Frances, the sum of £100 invested in order pay the interest to his said wife, should be paid to his daughter Sarah Henry.
In 1799 Sarah Henty and her brother Joseph Akehurst were co-executors of their father's Will.
