In 1731 Roger Cock was a beneficiary of his father's will, receiving £50, half his tenements, and a mare.

  Abstract of the Will of Roger Cock of the Parish of Gwithian in the County of Cornwall, Clerk, written 4 Dec 1792, proved 15 May 1793. 2
  Gives to his wife Mary Cock his stock of corn, household goods, implements of husbandry, maintenance to be provided her by his executor.
  Gives to his daughter Mary Cock an annuity of 40 shillings.
  Gives to his son Thomas Cock his right, title and interest in a tenement in lower Penprase within the barton of Tehidy and parish of Illogan, and his right, title and interest in a reversionary lease of a tenement in Penventin in Gwithian parish, following the death of his son Roger Cock, the lease having been formerly taken in his name. Also gives to Thomas his clothing except his Sunday suit, along with one milk cow or heifer.
  Gives £10 to his daughter Ann the wife of William Trewella of the parish of Towednack, for her own use and management.
  Gives £20 to his daughter Mary Cock.
  Gives one guinea in gold to his son-in-law William Trewella.
  Gives 5 shillings to each of his grandchildren.
  Gives to his daughter-in-law Mary the wife of Thomas Cock a small gold ring.
  All the rest of his goods and chattels he gives to his elder son Roger Cock, with the reversionary lease of the said tenement in Penventin Gwithian, appointing him sole executor of his last will and testament.
