  Research Notes:

In 1841 Phillis Trewhella, aged about 55, farmer, was living in Brunion, Uny Lelant, Cornwall. With her were children: William (25), farmer, Mathew (20), farmer, Martin (20), Elizabeth (15), and Edwin Hocking (12), ag. lab.

In 1851 Phillis Trewhella, aged 67, born in Towednack Cornwall, widow, farmer of 10 acres plus 6 acres crofts, employing 1 labourer, was living in Brunion, Uny Lelant. With her were children (born in Lelant, all single): Christopher (41), employed on the farm, Martin (30), employed on the farm, Elizabeth (27).

In 1861 Phillis Trewhella, aged 78, born in Towednack, widow, farmer of 40 acres, was living in Brunion, Uny Lelant. With her was son Christopher (52) of Towednack, unmarried, farmer of 40 acres.
