In 1871 Elizabeth Cooper, aged 48, born in Uny Lelant, and husband John Cooper, aged 51, born in Uny Lelant, wheelwright, were living in Belle Air, St. Ives. With them was son William J. (13) of St. Ives, scholar.

DEATH OF MRS. JOHN COOPER, OF ST. IVES.—We regret to chronicle the death of Elizabeth, beloved wife of Mr. John Cooper, of North-terrace, St. Ives. Deceased, who has suffered a long and painful illness, passed away quietly on Monday night shortly after 11 o'clock. She was, for many years, a member of the Wesleyan-methodist society, St. Ives. Mrs. Cooper, who was 74, was greatly respected at St. Ives and elsewhere ; her genial manner and goodness of heart having endeared her to many friends.
