In the Will of his uncle John Fox of Rayle (written 1814) John Trewartha was bequeathed his uncle's dwelling house and meadow in Portreath in Illogan parish then occupied by Joseph Williams, along with Harrington Wood in Illogan parish and the dwelling house and front meadows there, then occupied by Samuel Bosanco. Said bequests were on condition that John Trewartha does not sell the said premises but shall pass them on to his own children.

Abstract of the Will of John Trewartha of the Parish of Illogan in the County of Cornwall, Farmer, written 4 Mar 1829, proved 19 Jun 1829. 4
Gives £1 each to his children Arthur, Ann, Robert, Mary and Rebecca.
Gives to his son Benjamin all his shares in tin bounds as well as £32 10s. which his son Arthur owes him and which Arthur is to pay Benjamin within six months after his decease.
All the remainder he gives to his son Jacob whom he makes executor of his will.
