In August 1759 Jane Cruse was named as a beneficiary in the Will of her maternal grandmother Catherine Hulbert, widow, receiving her largest silver spoon, a waiter, two large silver spoons, all the furniture in her blue room and a dozen china plates. Also gives to Jane all the furniture in her yellow room.

Gives 3 guineas to her goddaughter Lucy Pike. Gives a guinea each to Lucy's sisters Mary & Elizabeth Pike.
Gives 1 guinea to Ann Whitehead of Wootton Bassett, spinster.
Gives 1 guinea to Elizabeth Leighfield of Greenhill.
Gives to her maidservant 2 guineas and a new printed callico gown with petticoat.
Gives a handsome ring each to the two Mrs. Hulberts of Speenhill near Newbury Berks.
Gives to Mrs. Hill of Pickwick near Corsham Wilts her gold watch and diamond pin.
Gives to Mrs. Mary Cruse her brother's widow all her wearing apparel to be equally divided between the said Mrs. Mary Cruse and Winifred the wife of James Pike of Greenhill aforesaid.
All the rest and residue of her property of all descriptions she divides into two equal parts; one part she gives to the said Mrs. Mary Cruse, and the other to Mr. James Pike and Winifred his wife.
Nominates the said Mrs. Mary Cruse and Mr. James Pike co-executors of her last will and testament.
