  Research Notes:

In 1733 Betty Hulbert was a residuary legatee of the Will of her maternal grandfather, John Gallimore of Wootton Bassett.

In 1740 Betty Hulbert was named as a beneficiary in her father's Will.

In 1774 Betty Heart, widow, sister of Thomas & John Hulbert, received £500 from the Will of her first cousin Jane Richmond of Ashton Keynes, spinster.

Abstract of the Will of Betty Heart of Stroud in the County of Gloucester, Widow and Relict of John Heart late of the Same Place, Gentleman, written 7 Aug 1776, proved 4 Dec 1776. 4

Gives to her youngest son John Heart her lands, tenements and hereditaments in the parishes of Abston otherwise Abaston otherwise Wick Abson and Wythington both in co. Gloucester.

Gives to her son John Heart her silver coffee pot, half a dozen silver table spoons. nine tea spoons, three silver cannisters, a large silver soup spoon and punch ladle, a silver goblet and silver boat, all her enameled china, her china punchbowl, a pair of diamond ear rings, her diamond ring, a gold girdle buckle, all her other rings, her bed and bedstead, her best white quilt, two pair of holland sheets, three pair of blankets, two pillows, her large oak chest and drawers and other items.

Gives and bequeaths to her eldest son Thomas Heart two pair of holland sheets, two damask table cloths, twelve napkins, a pair of common sheets, and all the residue and remainder of her household goods.

Gives 5 guineas to her servant Jane Skinner.

All the rest of her personal estate she gives to her son John Heart and his heirs, making his sole executor of her last will and testament.
