Present were sons (born in Ealing): Herbert W (3), Harold D (9 mos).

At the time of the 1891 England Census Anna L Hanks, age 37, born in Alfriston Sussex, and husband Herbert Hanks, age 37, born in St. Pancras London, house decorator, were living at 18 Denmark Rd., Ealing. With them were children (born in Ealing): Harold D (10), Leonard (6), and Mable (1).

At the time of the 1901 England Census Anna L Hanks, age 47, born in Alfriston Sussex, and husband Herbert Hanks, age 49, born in Marylebone London, decorator & upholsterer, were living in Windmill Hill, Hampstead London.
