In Sep 1799 Mary Roods was named as a beneficiary in her father's Will.
Writing his Will in May 1818 Samuel Roods of Westham devised to his wife Mary Roods his dwelling house with the garden ground and premises, for the term of her natural life. He also bequeathed to her the use, possession and benefit of his household furniture, plate, linen and china, for the term of her natural life. Mary died four months before her husband.
