Writing his Will in Mar 1796 William Cuckney of Wilmington, farrier, bequeathed to his daughters Barbara Cuckney and Sarah Cuckney, after the death of their mother, his copyhold messuage, stable, garden and hereditaments in Wilmington, along with his tenement in Jevington which is a public house called Farriers Arms, along with other tenements adjoining the former.
