In 1851 William Taylor, aged 65, born in Wootton Bassett, tiler & plasterer, and wife Anne, aged 65, born in Wootton Bassett were living in High Street Wootton Bassett. With them was son Walter (27) of Wootton Bassett, married, tiler & plasterer, and grandson Edward Taylor (4) of Wootton Bassett.
In 1861 William Taylor, aged 74, born in Wootton Bassett, plasterer, widower, and daughter Emily Taylor (40) of Wootton Bassett, unmarried, housekeeper, were living in High Street Wootton Bassett.
