Abstract of the Will of Robert Little of Wootton Bassett in the County of Wilts, Carpenter, written 27 Oct 1827, proved 29 Sep 1828. ⁴

Gives & devises all his freehold tenements or dwelling houses with the garden grounds and appurtenances in Wootton Bassett where he now lives to his son, Robert Little, and his heirs, conditional that Robert pay £20 to his brother and sisters Charles Little, Hester Little and Sarah Joiner wife of Cornelius Joiner of Cheltenham in co. Gloucester, carpenter.

Directs that his wife Mary Little shall continue to live in his house for 12 months after his death, giving to her the bed, bedstead, bedding and furniture sufficient to her needs for the term of her natural life. Also give and bequeaths her £12 which she will receive from the Wootton Bassett Club or Friendly Society immediately after his death.

Gives and bequeaths to his grandson Charles Joiner who lives with him his watch.

All the rest and residue of his household goods, furniture and effects, stock in trade, implements of trade, money, securities for money, book and other debts, and all his residuary personal estate whatever, he bequeaths among his said sons and daughters Robert Little, Charles Little, Hester Little and Sarah Joiner, share and share alike.

Nominates and appoints his said son Robert Little as sole executor of his last will and testament.
