in 1820 Esther Little was a witness at the marriage of her brother Robert to Susannah HEALE.

In 1827 Hester Little was bequeathed £20 in her father's Will and named as one of his residuary legatees.

In 1841 Esther Little, aged 50, schoolmistress, and [daughter] Ann Little (20), governess, were living in High Street Wootton Bassett.

In 1851 Esther Little, aged 60, born in Wootton Bassett, widow, schoolmistress, was living in High St., Wootton Bassett. With her were daughter Jane Little (25) of Wootton Bassett, governess, granddaughter Mary Jessop (7) of Kennington Surrey, scholar.

In 1861 Esther Little, aged 70, born in Wootton Bassett, widow, interest of money, was living in High St., Wootton Bassett. With her was granddaughter Mary Jessop (17) of Kennington London.

The Will of Esther Little late of Wootton Bassett in the County of Wilts, widow, deceased, who died 14 February 1870 at Westbury in the County aforesaid was proved 30 April 1870 at the Principal Registry by the oath of Ann George (wife of Charles George) of Westbury aforesaid, the daughter, the sole executrix. Effects under £800. ⁵
