  Research Notes:

In 1735 Elizabeth Tellam was appointed co-executor in her father's will, her inheritance held in trust by her uncle Johnson Vivian during her minority.

In 1740 Elizabeth 'now the wife of John Trevenen, Clerk,' was named residuary legatee in her mother's will, her inheritance held in trust by her uncle Johnson Vivian until she turns twenty-one.

In 1776 Elizabeth Trevenen was co-executor of her husband's will.

Abstract of the Will of Elizabeth Trevenen now of the Parish of Helston in the County of Cornwall, Widow, written 11 Jan 1796, proved 24 Apr 1798. 2

Desires that she be buried in the parish of Camborne near her deceased husband the Revd. John Trevenen.

Gives £500 to her son John Trevenen.

Gives £500 to the Revd Thos. Trevenen.

Gives £500 each to her daughters Elizabeth Penrose the wife of Charles Penrose, and Jane Penrose wife of the Revd. John Penrose.

Gives £500 to her grand-daughter Elisabeth Farquharson Trevenen, daughter of her son James Trevenen, deceased, to be paid to her when she turns twenty-one, appointing her two sons John Trevenen, Esq. and the Revd Thos: Trevenen trustees of Elisabeth's inheritance during her minority.

Gives to 8 guineas to niece? Constance Nichols now living at Truro.

Gives 6 guineas to the poor widows of Camborne.

Gives 4 guineas to the poor widows of Helston.

Gives 5 guineas each to her two maids.

Gives to her daughters, Elizth. Penrose and Jane Penrose, her household furniture, linen and clothing, appointing them co-executrices of her last will and testament.
