Abstract of the Will of James Trevenen of the Parish of Camborne in the County of Cornwall, Esquire, now serving in the Russian Navy, written 15 Jul 1790, proved 4 Dec 1790. 2

If he dies without issue, he gives his temporal wealth to his wife Elizabeth Trevenen of Petersburg for the term of her natural life, provided she touches neither the principal of the £1,000 stock which he has in the 4 percent Consols. in England, nor the principal of £300 currently held by his brother the Rev. Thomas Trevenen of Cardinham in Cornwall from whom he receives interest from the same. After his wife's decease, he wills that the two principal amounts be equally divided among the children of his brother the said Thomas Trevenen and his sisters Elizabeth and Jane Penrose.

If his wife should have a son, he will inherit the said principals once he turns twenty-one.

If his wife should have a daughter, he gives her the same, provided she does not marry before the age of 30 without her mother's consent. Following the death of his wife, he gives £500 to his said daughter, to be paid out of his wife's dowry.

Appoints his brother John Trevenen of Helston in Cornwall, Esq. and his cousin Mr. Thomas Wood of London, merchant, co-executors of his last will and testament.
