At the time of the 1901 Wales Census Alice Maud Le Ray, aged 34, born in Cardiff Glam., and husband Edwin Le Ray, aged 43, born in Bristol Glostr., commercial traveller, were living at 81 Richards Terrace, Roath Glamorgan. With them were son Edwin H P (5) of Cardiff, and Edwin's brother Norman C Le Ray (48) of Bristol, shipbroker's clerk.
At the time of the 1911 Wales Census Alice Maud Le Ray, aged 43, born in Cardiff (mother of two children), and husband of 17 years Edwin Le Ray, aged 54, born in Cardiff, colliery agent & coal merchant, were living at 81 Richards Terrace, Roath Glamorgan. With them were sons (born in Cardiff): Edwin Henry Page (15), at school, and Norman Clement (11), at school.
In the 1939 Register Alice M Le Roy (b. 2 Sep 1867), unpaid domestic duties, and husband Edwin Le Roy (b. 27 Jun 1857), coal merchant (retired), were living at 5 Cressy Road, Cardiff Glamorgan.
