At the time of the 1851 Wales Census William R B Page, aged 26, born in St. George Middlesex, deputy superintendent to the Taff Vale Railway Company, and wife Eliza, aged 27, born in Westminster, were living at 4 Wellington Terrace, St. John the Baptist, Cardiff, Glamorgan Wales. With them were children (born in Cardiff): Adeline E (2), Richard D (5 mo), mother-in-law Elizabeth Douglas (55) of Elmley Worcester, widow, and brother Edwin E Page (22) of Southwark Surrey, draftsman and clerk to T. V. Railway.
William and Eliza's daughter, Adeline Elizabeth, was buried in Roath on 2 Sep 1854, aged 6 years, 3 months.
At the time of the 1861 Wales Census William R B Page, aged 36, born in Westminster Middlesex, civil & mechanical engineer and manager of the Rumney Railway, and wife Eliza, aged 37, of London Middlesex, were living in Ruperra Villa, Roath Road, Roath Glamorgan.
