At the time of the 1851 England Census Ann Mockett, age 10, born in Alciston Sussex, was with her maternal grandparents William & Mary Martin, farmers, in Arlington Sussex.
At the time of the 1861 England Census Ann Mockett, age 19, born in Alciston, unmarried, was visiting her [maternal] grandmother Mary Martin, widow, on Polhills Farm, Arlington Sussex.
At the time of the 1871 England Census Ann Eager, age 29, born in Alciston, and husband Joseph Eager, age 35, born in Lewes, milkman & butcher, were living in North Street, South Malling Sussex. With them were children: Mary M (7) of Alfriston, scholar, Alice (5) of Lewes, and Thomas M (4) of Lewes.
In Jun 1877 Ann Eager was present at the marriage of her sister Jane Mockett to John Deverell in Southover Sussex.
