At the time of the 1871 England Census Hetty Gravely, age 32, born in Shoreham Sussex, and husband Ernest E Gravely, age 22, born in Epsom Surrey, cattle dealer, were living at 31 Caledonian St., Brighton St. Peter, Sussex. With them were Hetty's children: Annie Rowe (10) of Ahmedungger East Indies, scholar, Elizabeth Rowe (7) of Euston Lancashire, scholar, and Hetty Rowe (5) of Brighton Sussex.
At the time of the 1881 England Census Hetty Gravely, age 41, born in Shoreham Sussex, laundress, and husband Ernest E Gravely, age 33, born in Burgess Hill? Sussex, cattle dealer, were living at 29 Caledonian Rd., Brighton St. Peter. With them were Hetty's daughters Elizabeth Rowe (17) of Guxton Lancashire, attendant to Lady, and Hetty Rowe (15) of Brighton, working at a factory.
At the time of the 1891 England Census Hetty Gravely, age 50, born in Shoreham Sussex, laundress, and husband Ernest Graveley, age 40, born in Twineham Sussex, general dealer, were living at 29 Caledonian Rd., Brighton St. Peter. Daughter Annie Steele and her family were living at the same address.
