In 1871 Henry Hocken, aged 26, born in Gwinear Cornwall, railway official, and wife Lavinia Hocken, aged 29, born in Camborne Cornwall, nd son James H. Hocken (1) of Gwinear, were with Henry's parents in Rewlya, Gwinear.
In 1881 Henry Hocking, aged 36, born in Gwinear Cornwall, and wife Lavinia Hocking, aged 40, born in Camborne Cornwall, were living in Reawla Lane, Gwinear. Present were children Charls (8) of Gwinear, scholar, Ernest (3) of PA N America, scholar, Nicholas John (1) of PA N America, and Lavinia's mother Caroline Bennett (68) of Camborne, widow, independent.
In 1891 Henry Hocken, aged 46, born in Gwinear Cornwall, seller in coal stores, and wife Lavinia Hocken, aged 49, born in Camborne Cornwall, were living at 54 High St., Penzance, Cornwall. With them were children James Hy (21) of Gwinear, salesman in furniture shop, Ernest (13) of Queens Town America, printer's apprentice, Nicholas J. (11) of Gwinear, scholar, Herbert B. Henry Hocken of Mt. Pleasant died aged 50 years. Internment certified by James Henry Hocken the person having charge of the burial of the deceased under the Act of Parliament 43 & 44 Victoria Chap 41 (burial record).
